Celebrating the Brilliant male minds of MBHG

The #MenInScience within MBHG

As a follow-up to the "Woman's History Month" Blog series, which highlighted the incredible #WomanInScience within out division, we will be featuring various #MenInScience throughout the month of May. For this series, we have selected a group of professors, senior researchers and postdoctoral fellows from different research groups housed within the Division of Molecular Biology and Human Genetics (MBHG). During the course of the month, numerous profiles showcasing these brilliant scientists will be posted, highlighting their impact in the field of scientific research.

Our aim for this series is to breakdown the segregation within science and provide equal opportunity to all researchers regardless of their gender. Here at MBHG, we strive to create an atmosphere that embodies equality and inclusivity.

As Pat Wadors said: "When we listen and celebrate what is both common and different, we become a wiser, more inclusive, and better organization.”

We hope that this series inspires others to celebrate and support one another, to put other needs above your own and help them achieve their goals, so that others can help you achieve yours! Stay tuned to our blog to view our senior staff members impressive profiles and learn more about the ground-breaking research taking place here at MBHG - may the successes of others motivate you to make you dreams a reality!
